Industrial Espionage Booming In Mexico.

Industrial espionage is booming in Mexico, and its incidence likely is greater than anyone is willing to admit. While most corporate detectives eschew terms like "espionage" and "spy," preferring to use expressions such as "competitive intelligence," snooping on business partners and rivals has become big business and is likely to grow bigger still. U.S. corporate detective agency Kroll Associates, for example, arrived in Mexico 12 months ago and already has "saved" several important companies, tripling its sales during the period.
