Santander Mexicano Relocates To Former Serfin Buildings.

MEXICO CITY, Jan 25, 2001
Grupo Financiero Santander Mexicano Chairman Carlos Gomez y Gomez said the group would cease to use the two buildings it has occupied for the past several years and will relocate operations to office blocks previously owned by Grupo Financiero Serfin. Santander Mexicano, a subsidiary of Banco Santander Central Hispano (BSCH), in May last year acquired Serfin from Mexican bank bailout agency IPAB. Santander Mexicano senior executive Marcos Martinez Gavica said the group plans to invest 350 million dollars in systems and technology over the next three years.
