S&P maintains rating for Comerica Bank.
Internet Securities, October, 2002
MEXICO CITY, Oct 4, 2002 (Notimex/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- Standard & Poor's has reported it will maintain its rating on Comerica Bank (Mexico) at mxAA and mxA-1 for the long- and short-terms, respectively, but changed the outlook from stable to negative. The firm said the credit quality of Comerica Inc. is higher than that of the bank in Mexico, which along with the small relative size of the local bank supports S&P's expectation that the bank will continue to receive support from its parent company.
