Dollar could close year at 11 pesos.

MEXICO CITY, Nov 7, 2002 (El Economista/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- Morgan Stanley estimates that the exchange rate will hover between 10.70 and 11.00 pesos per dollar in 2003. Morgan Stanley's chief economist for Latin America, Gray Newman, said, "a weaker peso helps and does not damage the country because while the exchange rate is weak there will be more pesos per dollar of oil."For the budget, Mexico should take the 10-peso per dollar estimate made by the Bank of Mexico, said Newman, preventing the budget from becoming inflated as has occurred this year.
