Cemex considers changing its business strategy.

MEXICO CITY, Mar 21, 2003 (El Economista/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- Cementos Mexicanos will decide on Monday whether to modify its business strategy in light of a war between the United States and Iraq, executives of the cement company reported. They decided during an Administrative Council meeting to wait until Monday before taking action in order to observe how events unfold during the weekend.After a series of meetings, the directors decided that this was the best option as it would give the company a chance to analyze the potential effect of the war on its business in the United States, Venezuela, Egypt and the Philippines, which are seen as areas of potential problems.
