Santander Serfin and Visa International launch new credit card.

MEXICO CITY, May 7, 2003 (El Universal/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- Grupo Financiero Santander Serfin and Visa International announced a new credit card aimed at the small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) sector. Javier Lorenzo, general director of Commercial Bank, said they expect to issue about 10,000 cards during the rest of 2003. Through this product, businesses will have absolute control of representation spending, as well as benefits for their employees.Lorenzo said that the explosive credit growth in the country makes credit cards a good option for companies.
