Telefonica Moviles reaches 2.4 million clients.

MEXICO CITY, May 13, 2003 (Cr?nica/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- With 2.43 million customers in Mexico at the close of last quarter, Telef?nica M?viles reported operational income of 1.55 billion pesos (US$153.17 million). In its quarterly report, the company also said that the Global System Mobile (GSM) network was ready and would be launched within a few months in M?xico, Monterrey, Guadalajara and Tijuana. Telef?nica M?viles is set to invest a total of 114.62 million pesos (US$11.33 million) this year, the company said.
