Lack of reforms increases costs of economic development.

MEXICO CITY, Jun 25, 2003 (Notimex/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- The lack of structural reforms increases the costs associated with the economic development of Mexico, said the director of Economic Studies for Banamex. Alberto Gomez Alcala reported that despite this fact, an improvement in the United States' economy would bring with it the economic recovery of this country.He disdained the lack of an internal motor of growth that could have prevented the U.S. recession from effecting the Mexican economy to such a degree.
