BBVA:High chance of further drops in country risk.

MEXICO CITY, Sep 08, 2003 (Notimex/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- There is every chance that Mexico's country risk will continue declining due to its economic integration with the United States and the progress made in stability of prices and fiscal prudence, said BBVA Bancomer.
The Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) Bancomer financial group said in its study "Reduction of Country Risk" that in the last few years sovereign risk has fallen considerably, reaching record lows in 2002 and 2003. Last Friday the sovereign risk reached 211 basis points. The risk-rating agencies made improvements to their grades for Mexico and the country's sovereign debt now falls within the investment grade category.
