Pharmaceutical IVAX looks to acquire plant.

MEXICO CITY, Oct 01, 2003 (El Economista/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- Laboratories IVAX Pharmaceuticals is negotiating with different pharmaceutical companies in the country, among them Bayer, to acquire a plant, reported Pedro
Bello, marketing director of the company.
The executive also announced that the company would invest more than US$2 million in its promotion and advertising campaign to launch new pharmaceutical products. He assured that during the last two years, US$150 million has been invested in Mexico for the installation and acquisition of other laboratories and personnel contractions.
