Govt. presents austerity plan to Congress.

MEXICO CITY, Nov 06, 2003 (El Universal/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- The federal government will propose an aggressive austerity and rationality plan to Congress that includes not granting salary increases to superior and middle-ranked civil servants, as well as the reduction of delegations, overseas representation offices and social communication organizations.

Article 30 of the 2004 Spending Budget bill establishes that organizations and states would have to eliminate particular bodies, as well as all low-ranking administrative units.
