PAN willing to assume political costs of fiscal reform, Zapata says.

MEXICO CITY, Dec 11, 2003 (Notimex/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- The National Action Party (PAN) is willing to assume any political cost that could come with the passage of the fiscal reform that the Chamber of Deputies will vote on tomorrow, said the party's secretary, Alejandro Zapata Perogordo.

He acknowledged that passing the controversial reform could have a cost, but the country would pay a greater cost should no reform be accepted.
