Pemex and Lewis Energy Group sign contract for Olmos block.

MEXICO CITY, Feb 10, 2004 (Notimex/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- Petroleos Mexicanos (Pemex) and the Texan company Lewis Energy Group signed Tuesday the contract to carry out projects of development, infrastructure and maintenance of non-associated gas fields in the Olmos block, located in the Burgos Basin.
Pemex reported that with this project, around US$343.6 million dollars will be invested during the next 15 years of the contract. With these investments, Pemex expects to obtain an additional 40 million cubic feet of natural gas per day.
