S&P: Economy boosts construction sector.

MEXICO CITY, Nov 15, 2004 (El Economista/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- Risk-rating agency Standard & Poor's (S&P) said that the sector of construction materials in the country was boosted by greater economic activity in Mexico and the United States during the first three quarters of 2004.

S&P highlighted that quarterly GDP growth rates in Mexico and US have surpassed the expectations of analysts. In the United States, the economy grew 3.7% in the third quarter of 2004, while in Mexico the index is expected to rise 4% in the same period.
