Mexico's sovereign risk at all-time low.

MEXICO CITY, Dec 27, 2004 (Notimex/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- Mexico's sovereign risk, measured with the Emerging Market Bond Index (EMBI ) of JP Morgan, reached a record low of 161 basis points on Monday and Wednesday last week, reported the Treasury Secretariat (SHCP).At the end of last week, the EMBI was at 163 basis points, stated the SHCP in its weekly report. It said that other countries in Latin America also enjoyed decreases in their risk rates, with Argentina's index down eight points and Brazil's declining 11 points over the previous week.
