U.S. Votes `No' on ISO 9000:2000 Standards.(Brief Article)

The United States has submitted its vote on each of the three Draft International Standards (DIS) regarding ISO 9000: 2000. It was a "no" vote for two of the three standards: ISO 9000:2000 Quality Management Systems-Fundamentals and Vocabulary, and ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management Systems-Requirements. The third DIS, ISO 9004:2000 Quality Management Systems-Guidelines for Performance Improvement, received an affirmative vote from the United States.
