Citizens Banking Corp. appoints Nash executive vice president

Cathleen "Cathy" Nash has been appointed executive vice president, head of consumer banking for Citizens Banking Corp., Flint, Mich. Nash's responsibilities will include oversight of all retail branches, consumer lending and residential mortgage lending for the corporation.

Nash will also direct marketing support and corporate communications as well as the product management function for the corporation. She will serve on the corporation's senior leadership team.

Nash brings 20 years of experience in consumer banking to Citizens. She joins the bank from SunTrust Corp. in Atlanta, Ga., where she most recently served as senior vice president, director of branch banking, overseeing the sales and operations strategy of 1,700 branch locations.
