Dow Building Solutions acquires Stevens Roofing Systems.(Industry News)

MIDLAND, Mich. -- Dow Building Solutions, a unit of The Dow Chemical Company based in Midland, Mich., announced that it has agreed to acquire Stevens Roofing Systems and Geomembrane Systems, a business of JPS Industries Inc.
"This is one of the most significant announcements Dow Building Solutions has made over the past year," said Jody Wise, vice president of marketing for Dow Building Solutions (DBS). "We have been restructuring our portfolio to invest in future growth and become more 'market-facing,' which essentially means getting closer to our customers and developing meaningful solutions that drive value for both our customers and for Dow."
