INDUSTRY NEWS: Ballard Buys AirGen.(Ballard Power Systems to purchase Coleman Powermate's AirGen fuel cell generator assets)(Brief Article)

Ballard Power Systems (9000 Glenlyon Pkwy., Burnaby, BC V5J 5J9 Canada; Tel: 604/454-0900) and Coleman Powermate, Inc. have entered into a Memorandum of Understanding, whereby Ballard will purchase Coleman Powermate's AirGen fuel cell generator assets. Ballard will acquire all related inventory, tools and molds, software and intellectual property, including the AirGen brand, and will develop its own sales, marketing, and distribution strategy for the fuel cell generator. The Memorandum of Understanding is subject to completion of due diligence.
