UPS Deploys Dodge Sprinters.(UPS Properties Inc.-fuel cell vehicles)(Brief Article)

Buoyed by initial road-test results and significant technological advancements, UPS (55 Glenlake Parkway, NE, Atlanta, GA 30328; Tel: 404/828-7123) deployed its first three Dodge Sprinters: large package delivery vehicles, using hydrogen fuel cells for power. UPS now is jumping from a small fuel cell car to a medium-duty truck. UPS will continue the rapid application fuel cell vehicles in hopes that in the near future, UPS can deploy zero-emission engines across its fleet of 88,000 vehicles.
