Ford Delivers FC Fleet.

Ford (Ford Motor Company, PO Box 6248, Dearborn, MI 48126, ph: 800/392-3673; www.ford.com) delivered five Focus hybrid hydrogen fuel cell vehicles as part of a five city 30-fuel cell car program to conduct real world testing of it's fuel cell technology.

The city of Taylor received four FC vehicles and Ann Arbor received the fifth to test and to increase consumer awareness of fuel cell technology. The Ford Focus FC vehicle uses a Ballard fuel cell system coupled with a nickel metal-hydride battery pack and a brake-by-wire electro-hydraulic series regenerative braking system.
