TECHNOLOGY INSIGHT Fuel Cell Sector Revenues Exceed R&D Expenditures.

According to PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) 2005 Fuel Cell Industry Survey (see http://www.pwc.com/ca/fuelcellsurvey05), aggregate revenues for public companies in the fuel cell sector decreased slightly in 2004 to $234 million, down 4% from $244 million in 2003. However, revenues exceeded research and development (R&D) expenditures, continuing a trend that began in 2002.
The annual survey, released in conjunction with the Ninth Grove Fuel Cell Symposium in London, United Kingdom, also found that net losses in the sector grew to $465...
