Zoran Corporation has announced that the Vaddis III DVD Decoder IC is used in Orion's new 14" TV/ DVD Combo unit, Model TV/DVD 1450, and Standalone DVD player, Model WT-DVD400. The Vaddis DVD Decoder IC incorporates Zoran patented technology allowing it to deliver full-featured DVD playback with a single 16-Mbit SDRAM, half of the memory required by competing solutions.
