PROJECT OVERVIEW

The local state-owned JORDAN PETROLEUM REFINERY CO. (JPRC) recently retained the services of U.S.-based MW KELLOGG CO. to complete a feasibility study regarding the possible expansion of its refinery. According to the results of the study, the cost to complete the proposed upgrade project has been pegged at $500,000,000. The refurbishment works in question are reportedly aimed at enabling the fulfilment of domestic needs until the year 2010.
