PROJECT OVERVIEW
The local ABU DHABI WATER & ELECTRICITY AUTHORITY (ADWEA) [UAE] is currently involved in the $27,000,000,000 redevelopment of Saadiyat Island's entire power and water distribution systems from conceptual design to construction supervision.
The 27 square km project is intended to transform the Island into a bustling city by 2009. The new power and water distribution systems will support plans to build up-market real estate, hospitality and leisure facilities, a multi-lane expressway and a twin track light railway network which will provide a direct link to the capital city of Abu Dhabi.
