Information Access Top Priority in Decision to Join, Study Says

ASSOCIATIONS
ASQ, along with 17 other associations, participated in a study to determine why members and nonmembers join or consider joining their organizations. The American Society of Association Executives headed up the project, called the "decision-to-join" study.
ASQ received responses from 756 of its members (25.2% response rate) and 498 nonmembers (14.9% response rate) who had purchased products or services from ASQ within two years prior to the study. Results were divided into what ASQ considers its five market areas: manufacturing, service, healthcare, education and international.
