Clement Publishing Group acquires Soundview Executive Book Summaries.

Middlebury, Vt.-based Soundview Executive Book Summaries created the book summary concept more than 20 years ago. Editors review more than 1,100 business books published each year and select the best 30 books, which are then summarized in an 8-page newsletter format. Soundview claims subscribers in 135 countries.

Clement Publishing Group purchased Soundview for around $7 million. Clement publishes 20 weekly training and motivational poster programs and more than a dozen business-to-business newsletters on employment law, safety and OSHA compliance, customer service, quality and excellence, sales and marketing and management skills development.
