Wicks Business Information CEO Douglas J. Manoni recently announced that Denise Elliott has been named president of Briefings Publishing Group, a leading producer of media aimed at improving workplace and managerial performance. The Alexandria, Virginia-based Briefings is a division of the Fairfield, Connecticut-based Wicks.
Elliott, who was hired by Wicks in 1999 and previously served as publisher, will now oversee all apects of the Briefings operations. Prior to her coming to Wicks. Elliott was the vice president of marketing at Washington Business Information, a newsletter publishing company. She is also past chairman of the Newsletter & Electronic Association's D.C. chapter and is currently chairman of the organization's marketing special interest group....
