Noise at Daycare and Home Interferes With Infants Learning to Speak.

COLLEGE PARK, Md., March 30 (AScribe Newswire) -- Noise levels in some daycare centers and homes can interfere with the language development of infants younger than 13 months, says a new University of Maryland study published in the current edition of Developmental Psychology. The study is one of the first of its kind to examine the impact of background noise on infants.
