-Removal of 2% Oxy Standard Doesn't Affect Refiners' Near-Term Plans, They Say

California refiners plan to maintain their current ethanol use in the near-term, despite the ability refiners now have to reduce the blendstock in California gasoline, according to a recently released survey from the California Energy Commission (CEC).

The survey was conducted to quantify and assess California refiners' current and future ethanol use, specifically as it relates to enactment of the energy bill, passed into law in August.
