Pace Micro Technology, the British electronics group, this week displayed its receiving device that is understood to cost GBP130 (E210). The traditional set-top-box is replaced by technology that is neat, elegant and palm-size.

The receiver should be on sale in April 2002. The aim is to cooridinate its launch with that of the two BBC digital channels that should be broadcasting by June 2002.
