Microsoft, the global computer software company, is offering a cheaper version of its MSN TV internet service, which enables access to the internet via a TV set, according to Reuters.

Microsoft said it is offering the service, provided through a wireless keyboard or remote control, through an economy plan for $9.95 a month (E10.54), including five hours of internet access with an option for users to buy more hours for $2.95 per hour (E3.12).

The news wire reports that Microsoft is to also continue to provide the unlimited internet access time plan for $21.95 per month (E23.25). ((Distributed via M2 Communications Ltd - http://www.m2.com))
