FCI columnist Joe Grady led a panel discussion titled "Mold: A Growing Problem in Floor Covering" at the Surfaces conference in Las Vegas on January 31. Panelists were: Ray Thompson, manager of field installation training for Armstrong World Industries, Inc.; Gray La Fortune, director of the Ceramic Tile Institute of America; and Craig Hamilton, director of research and development for Mapei Corporation.
Attendance for the conference was one of the highest of any Surfaces eduacational event. These industry experts on mold & moisture-related issues discussed the causes of mold & how to avoid mold-related liability issues.
