The Internal Revenue Service ORS) appointed new members to the Advisory Committee on Tax Exempt and Government Entities (ACT). The committee consists of "stakeholders in the specialized areas of tax-exempt organizations, employee retirement plans, tax-exempt bonds and federal, state, local and Indian tribal governments," according to the IRS.
ACT provides the IRS with input on the development and implementation of policy in the areas of employee plans, exempt organizations, tax-exempt bonds and federal, state, local and Indian tribal government issues.
The two appointments for the exempt organizations are:
