A successful mobile computer requires the latest technology to strike a sensible balance between portability and power. The X22, which weighs 3.7 lbs. and sports a Pentium III processor running at 800 MHz, is neither the lightest nor the most powerful notebook on the market. But if you value mobility over power, this is the most useful notebook available.
In order to keep the )(22 less than 4 lbs., the LCD panel measures 12.1 in., and the only internal drive is a 20-GB hard disk. Optional floppy and CD/DVD drives must be connected externally, while the excellent keyboard is full-sized. And. the battery packs a good four hours per charge.
