LEXMARK T642 LASER PRINTER
We are used to printers increasing in speed and dropping in price but Lexmark has added more subtle enhancements to its new single-function monochrome laser printers. I tested the T642 model, the mid-point of the T640 family.
The operator panel on the front of the printer is easier to use and more sophisticated, with graphics that illustrate common procedures and adjustments to guide users.
Confidential print jobs can be stored in the printer and retrieved later by entering a password on the front panel. Additional security features are available for offices that need them.
The USB port in front allows users to insert a memory key and then choose PDF files to print while standing at the printer. Bookmarks to websites can be stored...
