Bill Buxton has been appointed senior researcher with Microsoft Research to work on projects with the organization's six labs in North America, Europe, China and India. His first assignment begins in January with a four-month residency at Microsoft Research's lab in Cambridge UK. Buxton is a globally recognized expert in human-computer interaction in the areas of design, film making and music.
