New to the marketing team as brand managers at DB Breweries Waitemata Brewery in Auckland are Liz Parker, Nick Rogers and Rene de Monchy. Liz, who joins as Heineken brand manager, was most recently with Heineken Ireland. She replaces Bruce McGechan who is now with Vodafone. Nick, formerly assistant brand manager for Tui, takes over responsibility for Monteith's from Lisa Dymand.
She's now DB Draught brand manager in Christchurch, replacing Justin Watson who has left the company to pursue other opportunities. Rene de Monchy's product development role is a new one for DB and includes the new fruit flavoured beer range brand Hopper. He was with NZ Diary Foods as brand manager for the butter and cheese category.
