Panasonic has selected ATIs highly mobile Rage[registered] LT Pro graphics chip for its new WiLL personal computer (PC). Panasonics WiLL PC is aimed at the upwardly mobile 30-and-under market in Japan.
The electronic giants selection of the Rage LT Pro is another indication of the chips versatile nature, in that it delivers two- dimensional (2D), three-dimensional (3D) and video acceleration, as well as multi-media features.
ATI's Rage LT Pro provides 2D, 3D and digital versatile disk (DVD) video acceleration for digital flat panel display, cathode ray tube (CRT) support and an advanced configuration and power interface (ACPI).
The Rage LT Pro is pin-compatible with other ATI graphics accelerators.
