Fuji Xerox to use 100% recycled plastic in photocopiers.(Plastics)

Fuji Xerox Co, Ltd is to use parts made wholly from recycled plastic for the first time in its photocopiers. A small number of parts will be used in six models of the firm's DocuCentre Color series digital photocopiers. The number of parts to be made from used Fuji photocopiers will increase from one initially to more than a dozen by year-end.
The firm already recycles plastic from used photocopiers, but the conventional technology has not been able to produce material that is strong enough to be made into photocopier parts. Consequently, Fuji Xerox has only been using parts made of 25% recycled plastic in several dozen models.
The new method, which adds a small amount of rubber materials, produces recycled plastic that is as durable as new plastic....
