A&G Information Services 03-07-2001 ACCORDING TO THE RESEARCH COMPANY IDC, 1,4 MILLION PCs WERE IMPORTED INTO RUSSIA IN 2000 FOR A TOTAL VALUE OF $1,3 BILLION. ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA. In absolute figures the market increased by 16% as compared to 1999, but the total cost of imported PCs increased just by 2,5%.

According to IDC, the highest increase in the PC market was in the last quarter of 2000: 439 thousand PCs were sold in that period in Russia for a total of $396 million.
