A&G Information Services 11-19-2002 TNK IS BEATING DOWN THE PRICE OF "SLAVNEFT" ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, NOV 18, 2002 (A&G News via COMTEX) -- Thedirectorate of TNK held a press-conference atwhich it announced that their company willdefinitely take part in the auction for the saleof the state shareholding of "Slavneft".According to the press-conference, TNK is goingto persuade other potential participants of theauction that the value of these shares is muchlower than was advertised and just a littleexceeds the starting price at $1,3 billion.
