A&G Information Services 12-07-2004 "GAZPROM" WILL BUY "YUGANSKNEFTEGAZ" ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, Dec 07, 2004 (A&G News via COMTEX) -- "Gazprom" held two sittings of managers and one sitting of the board of directors, discussing the company's participation in an auction sale of 77% of shares of OAO "Yuganskneftegaz".
In the morning a decision about taking part in the auction was taken and in the evening the investment program of "Gazprom" was corrected, taking into consideration possible expenses of the auction. The company decided to decline Rbl 100 billion investment into gas extraction, so as to have enough money for new purchases. The details of the purchase will be discussed at the next sitting.
