A&G Information Services 10-19-2005 COMPANY NEWS "GAZPROM" WILL WORK TO THE NEEDS OF VENEZUELA ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, Oct 19, 2005 (A&G News via COMTEX) -- The licenses to explore and exploit the natural gas fields in Venezuela were given to "Gazprom" for 30 years, reported the gas holding.
In the first 4 years the company will conduct the exploration seismology and test drilling. As far as it was informed before, Russian concern got a permission from the Ministry of Energy and Oil of Venezuela to exploitation of the blocks Urumaco 1 and Urumaco 2, the cost of which is valued at $15,2 million and $24,8 million.
