CONOCOPHILLIPS HAS INCREASED ITS PART IN LUKOIL

A&G Information Services 01-16-2006 CONOCOPHILLIPS HAS INCREASED ITS PART IN LUKOIL ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, Jan 16, 2006 (A&G News via COMTEX) -- In the 4th quarter of 2005 American ConocoPhilips bought 1,3% of the shares of the OC LUKOIL. According to the company's report, in the end of the year 16,1% of LUKOIL shares belonged to it, compared with 14,8% in the end of September.
In accordance with the stock-exchange quotation, on the 30th of December 20051 the price of 6,1% of LUKOIL shares was $8,13 billion. ConocoPhilips paid about $650 million for 1,3% of LUKOIL securities, taking into consideration an average market cost of Russian company in the 4th quarter.
