A&G Information Services 03-13-2006 RUSSIA IS RAISING THE SPENT FUEL PRICES ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, Mar 13, 2006 (A&G News via COMTEX) -- The president of Ukrainian National Atomic Energy Generative Company "Energoatom" Yuri Nedashkovsky has announced, that in 2006 Russia raised the price for keeping custody and treatment of the spent fuel (SF) from Ukrainian AES by 62,8% - to $720 per kilo.

According to Nedashkovsky's words, Ukraine refused to take out the SF at this price and would keep it in the stations' cooling pools. ...
