A&G Information Services 07-19-2006 THE STATE DUMA HAS INCREASED TABACCO EXCISES ONCE MORE ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, Jul 19, 2006 (A&G News via COMTEX) -- At present in Russia a so-called combined system of collecting of an excise from tobacco producers: 78 rbl per 1000 pieces + 8% of the factory's release price for filtered cigarettes and 35 rbl per 1000 pieces + 8% - for non-filtered cigarettes.

For 2007 the Ministry of Finances has approved the excise's rate at the level of 95 rbl per 1000 pieces (1,9 rbl per pack) + 5% of the maximum retail price (MRP) for filtered ...
