A&G Information Services 08-28-2006 FORD'S RUSSIAN "DAUGHTER" YIELDS LOSSES ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, Aug 28, 2006 (A&G News via COMTEX) -- In 2005 the loss of the CJSC "Ford Motors Company", the concern's Russian "daughter" in Vsevolozhsk, amounted to 60 million rbl, the profit - 39,2 billion rbl, it is said in the company's report.
In 2004 the net profit of "Ford Motors Company" was 332 million rbl, the income - 24,3 billion rbl. Ford cars, especially Ford Focus, assembled in Vsevolozhsk, are fantastically popular in Russia. The persons wishing to buy them are waiting for their turn for half a year, and Ford takes the 4th place on the sales of foreign brands cars.
