A&G Information Services 09-06-2006 RUSSIA TAKES THE FIRST PLACE IN OIL EXTRACTION ST.PETERSBURG, RUSSIA, Sep 06, 2006 (A&G News via COMTEX) -- In June Russia took the first place in the world in the volume of oil extraction, having left Saudi Arabia behind. According to OPEC in June 9, 236 million barrels of oil a day were extracted in the RF, or by 46 thousand barrels more than in Saudi Arabia.
