TOLEDO, OH -- According to the second annual "Energy-Efficient Home Improvements" study by Owens Corning, the high cost of heating has caused many Americans to cut entertainment expenses or channel money into energy-efficient improvements. However, according to Owens Corning's survey, only one-quarter of Americans definitely plan to invest in the latter. Most of those people making energy-saving improvements understand their financial benefits. Nearly two-thirds (65%) said they were making improvements to save money on their bills, while another 47% said that increasing their home's resale value was also a factor.
